Yeah I have more shots of the bridge than just about any other thing. I live really close to it so my short little jaunts always end up somewhere nearby. Could be worse I guess! |

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keri%C3%B0 It's a crater lake called Kerið. It was really the only colorful thing we saw in the entire country. There was a trail to get right down near the water/ice, so you could get up close and personal if you really wanted to. One thing that I never got the chance to capture were the endless fields of ash just to the southeast of Eyjaffjallajokull. There were probably endless fields of grass there a few years ago, but it was just black from the Ring Road to the sea (several kilometers). A lot of things I read compared the Reykjanes peninsula landscape to that of the moon, but I feel like that part of South Iceland was so much more moon-like in its desolation. |

I already posted this in the ups and downs thread, but it really belongs here.
This is the video my coworkers and i got to shoot on a shoestring budget for our prom rep program here. It was done by a few of us webdesigners who are hobbyist photographers. And the dude that came in and took my old job is a musician/dj and he did the music. Pretty cool to do this all in house and I think be much closer to what a teenager might be interested in. I've seen some of the other companies vids, and it just screams old people in a boardroom brainstorming what kids like these days. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fUJsj8TGzHg&feature=g-u-u&context=G2f223f6FUAAAAAAAAAA Prepping for hawaii, and i just sold an expensive robot so i am debating on grabbing a new lens. Congrats on the wedding!
Some really nice shots there, I especially like the night shot, and the heli (i am assuming) shots are pretty amazing. Really want to go there, I've been fascinated by the northern lights since i found out about them so thats on my bucket list. |
