"This is a small and fast (for me) painting, measuring at 37 * 58 cm. It doesn't have the detail of my large paintings due to it's size, but I think the brushwork at the micro level is perhaps some of the best I've done.

It is also one of the last cosmonaut paintings I'm planning on producing, although future work should be evolution of those themes, rather than a radical departure.

Given so many people missed out on the last few prints, we'll be making this one available as a timed release, and as a mini print (similar in size to the Cluster Study), with the price as low as possible. It should mean that anyone who is interested in a cosmonaut print will be able to to grab this one.

I went to high school/hung out with this dude. I just looked at this thread and thought 'Hey, I wonder...'. Haven't seen or spoken to him since we finished in '92. Checked out his site, fuck those paintings are bullshitly awesome!

That's pretty rad. He seems like a really nice guy from when I've emailed back and forth with him, and from what I've heard others say.

Did you know him mas artistically talented then? That would be rad to have a cool little sketch in your yearbook or something, I had some artsy friends who would always rather draw something than write it.

Yeah he was a good dude. We just hung out in the same group and had graphic design classes together. I remember he did a lot of airbrush paintings back then.
