So there's only going to be 1000 copies of TBSM? That seems hella low to me but I'm comparing the demand to that of the ISIS split.
Which I still don't own because I dropped the ball and waited to long to order it. I also refuse to pay 40 bucks for it. I used to like ISIS. No more my friends, no more. |

LA Times interview with the King of Buzz
The photo is my new desktop background for my laptop. "One of the shows is gonna include the Melvins 1983, which is gonna include our original drummer, Mike Dillard, and Dale [Crover] is gonna play bass. One of the shows we’re gonna open as the Melvins 1983 playing some of the songs we played in 1983, the way we played them in '83 and then sort of jazz 'em up." =O Holy fuck! |

Yeah I saw Melvins 1983 too @ the anniversary show in Austin back in 09', it was pretty cool. The second set was better though, Houdini in its entirety (plus some extra stuff thrown in for good measure) with Trevor Dunn on bass, fuckin killer.

I saw the anniversary show in Portland. I think I saw them two or three times in 2010 and the last time fucked up my ears bad. The best was them playing 2 sets at a small bar in Eugene (John Henry's) with maybe 200 people there. It was hard to tell how many were there because I was four fucking feet from Buzz the whole time! Holy shit, I gotta play Bullhead right now.

I've seen them twice at the Grog shop in Cleveland and once at a place called Mr. Smalls in Pittsburgh.

The real question is... Who was at this show?
![]() On a side note... I heard a story one time about how Melvins, and Mr. Bungle were opening up for Slayer in the early nineties, and Melvins were getting nothing but boos from the crowd and giving em a real hard time and shit, and Patton comes out and tells the audience that the Melvins are fuckin genius and maybe they just dont get it, and Mr. Bungle proceeds to play their whole set in Melvins fashion (i.e. slow and heavy as fuck, this was Bullhead/Lysol era). Then Tom Araya starts bitchin to Patton about how could he do that, and they're not takin this serious and that kind of shit, and Patton told him to pretty much eat a dick, and I think they got kicked off they tour. |

I got my copy after it had been out of print for ages. I had pretty much resigned myself to having to Ebay it. Then when I first moved to Brisbane, I peeped the local record store and lo and behold, there it was. Saw it and immediately said to the dude 'I'll have that, thanks!'. Was pretty stoked. |

The First 3 designs of The Bride Screamed Murder went up on Amrep but they are already sold out. http://amphetaminereptile.com/melvins/index.html I guess there weren´t that many because they were sold at shows. Next versions ar going up next week and I hope I to grab a copy then. Fuck, I would have really liked to get a Haze or Mizuno Design.

With the new album and touring that's certainly not enough. MELVINS fans; there's more. Osborne gives Sludge Factory the insider of what's next on the agenda. "We're planning a new live album coming out. I think the name of it is going to be Sugar Daddy."

Wow, they sure are pretty busy putting out stuff.
Goddamnit, I can´t believe it! There were 3 designs of The Bride Screamed Murder for sale just now and they sold out in under 10 minutes. That is much worse than Youth Attack! updates. |

This is going to get ridiculous. I want this album in the worst way but I have a life. I can't glue myself to a PC waiting for a shot at one of these.
