Any Total War fans? I just picked a copy of Shogun 2 on the cheap from eBay last night - It's the limited edition version as well! I spent hundreds of hours playing the first Shogun: Total War when I was like ten, can't believe I hadn't picked this up yet.

I also just found out on the weekend that there is a Song of Ice and Fire conversion mod for Medieval 2: Total War. It's only in its alpha stages but it could potentially be awesome.

i worked at Software Etc. a long time ago (company renamed themselves GameStop)... I was a manager of a store... it was fun for what it was, a mall job with somewhat decent pay...

I really like it hey. It has a real comical kind of aesthetic and I actually probably enjoy the Tekken characters more in that context (pick the Heihachi and Kuma tag-team. Fucking hilarious). I am a big fan of both the SF and Tekken series though. Street Fighter x Tekken is basically working off of the SF engine. If you're more into Tekken, you'll probably want to wait until Tekken x Street Fighter comes out later in the year - It will be based more on the Tekken engine...

I'm stoked waiting for Tekken Tag Tournament 2 to hit consoles/PC also...

yes, it has been comfirmed, BUT , before we know they could be a bunch of fakes saying that. they said it was done one year ago. if it sells really well, we could get a shenmue 3.

ahh, super metroid on the snes is amazing, have you completed it? i remember it being hard as fuck .

i agree about witcher 2, i am just kinda bored with it to finish, i find myself turning it off . but how did you mean it anyway, the same way i did, or you just find it hard?

former 3rd key. there was a "situation" in which after getting verbally abused for about 10 minutes (thanks DVR) and spit on twice I told a customer "get the fuck out of my store before I have you arrested". she cried racism. I may even tell ya one day who this bullying piece of shit is..he tries to intimidate, berate, and abuse all of his employees..my punishment is like 15 hours a week and no more ever and after 5 years, not even at 10 an hour homey.

that fuckin' sucks dude... yeah we have the worst customers as well. I have a 92% rating from all the surveys from the receipts, as well as #1 in customer service ratings and GPG sales for two straight months, but i've also had three complaints filed against me saying that i'm a dick.

I'm super helpful and nice unless you're a piece of shit parent buying your 8 year old Max Payne 3, an idiot calling me asking how much i'll give you for something or what the exact price will be with tax (i'm not your fucking calculator and you should have paid better attention in school you sack of shit), or, lastly, if you're completely rude to me first. I have great customer service skills, but when you're on your cell phone and tell me to hurry up or you're rude to me when I'm just doing what my job requires of me (i.e. sales pitch for PUR, reserves, & GPGs), I'm gonna give a little back. I can't stand half our customers because they're these poor fucking idiots walking in asking what the cheapest fucking wrestling, basketball, and football games are that we have when their clothes are filthy and it's completely obvious they should be putting their money to better use than buying shit from us in the first place. I wan't to grab them by the ear and walk them to the door and say, "do something to better yourself before you come back" and toss their ass onto the curb. seriously. I deal with complete trash sometimes. doesn't matter what race, creed, or sex.

my biggest pet peeve is when you realize that certain customers are completely taking advantage of the 7 day cash back return policy and just using gamestop as a fucking game library. they spend $50 but then play $1000 worth of games. then i'm told i can report these customers to corporate and they're accounts will be flagged to where they can't return stuff anymore. then when i try to do that, no response from the people who said i could do that in the first place. where's my recourse?

i'm all for getting over on "the man", but when the market my company operates within is down 40% from the year before and it's keeping hours off my paycheck, food from my mouth, and money to pay rent while i peruse my education from my wallet, it becomes more. It's no longer, "the man", it's my fucking livelihood until i'm able to do what i'm going to school for. so for all you assholes out there that do this, go fuck yourself.

I pretty much stopped at X. Ever since the series dropped the free roam world map stuff, I just find it too linear... Loved all the SNES and PS1 titles though.

I never finished X, the battles just bored me to death. VI is my favorite, but I did enjoy XIII more than XII (who in their right mind would think that a 4 hour boss fight would be a good idea, optional or not?). XIII-2 didn't hold my attention for very long.
