I put that fucking sauce on every Asian food my wife and I cook. It's a tad insulting to well made food, but fuck it, it's soooooo good.

I dunno if it's that exact bottle, but yeah, I used to love that stuff. Haven't had it for quite a while though. Some suggestions:
- put it on your steak - use it for dipping your BACON - put it in a glass and drink it* * don't actually do this, it would be quite foolish I imagine. |

Guys. Sriracha and peanutbutter.
YOUR LIFE IS CHANGED |
|||||||
|
Monday, February 1, 2010 @ 6:17 am
I don't eat peanut butter. It's easily the grossest spread ever created.

Yes, love this stuff.

Bread. Sriracha. Peanutbutter. Make sandwich. Or minus the bread and put over vegetables like Jess said. I also make a sauce like that and it ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuules. |

I love sricacha on asian food, but I use franks on everything else.
|
|||||||

Monday, February 1, 2010 @ 8:44 am
agreed. most of my friends are of the "punk seasoning" school, which means they can only fathom putting hot sauce or garlic on anything and everything. i think it's pretty gross. but every once in a while something will need heat, and sriracha is a pretty good choice. |

I mainly use it on weak foods. Frozen veggies, peanutbutter sandwiches, plain cheese pizza. I use it as an ingredient for sauces though! So good.

I always found it kinda boring.
i'd rather bust out the mortar/pestle, chilis, fish oil, herbz |

Within the last month, I've probaby fucked up my stomache using this stuff on just about everything I cooked/ordered from restaurants. I've had gnarly stomache pains within the last week and I'm quite sure this is to blame. It's addicting.
If you're making burgers with bbq sauce on it, mix this into your sauce and for spicier taste. Rules. |

I've been squirting it into almost every soup I eat. Also, if you're into calories, Sriracha mixed with ranch is a great dipping sauce for pizza.

sriracha rules in the proper application.
i'm a texas pete girl when it comes to just regular hot sauce, though. it has the best balance of spicy and vinegary for me. cholula is a close second. :) |

They're completely different beasts. |
|||||||
|
Monday, February 1, 2010 @ 7:39 pm
That's probably more accurate. Frank's for eggs and wings. Sriracha is for Asian food. Though I might use garlic chili paste more then. And green tobasco is best for Mexican. Different strokes for different folks. |

Tapatio > Cholula. |
|||||||
|
Friday, February 5, 2010 @ 7:50 pm
I have to disagree. Though I like that Tapatio comes in 5 liter bottles. Haha.
|
|||||||
|
Friday, February 5, 2010 @ 7:52 pm
we all know tapatio is best on tortilla chips accompanied by lingonberry lemonade.

I am taking this statement back. Sriracha is superior on eggs. In fact, I may start using Frank's only for buffalo and spaghetti sauce and chili. Hail the rooster |

Awesome stuff.
Really dig the chili garlic sauce. We have a shelf on the door for the hot sauces, different flavours for different stuff, but Sriracha + SGS are staples. ![]() |

When I don't have time to cook I make a spicy tuna sandwich with Sriracha"
1 can of tuna + a good squirt of Sriracha + a dash of curry powder + mayo + mustard + plus some dill relish Mix all that together and make a sandwich. Unrefined but delicious. |
