You guys should check out "the Future of Food". It goes pretty in depth into genetically modified food. a real eye opener.
Also, "King of Corn" is pretty amusing. it's also a food documentary, but it deals with why corn is in almost everything we eat, and what its doing to the american people. |

I'm gonna try to recommend some that no one has mentioned or maybe just forgot:
Paradise Lost - The Child Murders at Robin Hood Hills (then watch Paradise Lost 2) The Civil War - by Ken Burns (classic) Man on Wire - A look at tightrope walker who performed a tightrope walk between the twin towers in 74'. The Jaundiced Eye - Story of a gay man and his dad who were sentenced to 35 years for molesting the one mans son. Only to find out later that the story was a planned accusation by the ex wife and her homophobic husband. Murder on a Sunday Morning - 15 year old kid accused of killing a women at a hotel basically for just being black and walking his dog in the vicinity of the crime. Mr. Death: The Rise & Fall of Fred A. Leuchter Jr. - or any other ERROL MORRIS documentary |

![]() Not sure if anyone said this one or not, but its pretty good. I saw it years ago, but when anyone asks about a documentary, its still one of the first ones I think of. It will probably piss you off, which in this case is a good thing, because something needs to be done about this shit. |

The Corporation is good. Wasn't too surprised about anything in it, though... but I'm already pissed off and angry.

ZOO. It's about a small group of people into bestiality in the northwest US. Disturbing, but totally captivating.
Going to be checking out a number of these soon. Namely 'Dark Days.' |

ffffffffuck! I love bacon so much! I can't fry it much at home because it takes so long. I put love into every slice!

i would suggest baking your bacon. it takes less time, and it makes less of a mess. we cook bacon on a cooling rack, and lay that on baking sheets. it cooks all the bacon evenly, and it tastes brilliant. and you won't need to sop up all the grease with a paper towel, because the grease falls off onto the baking sheet.
and if you are really crafty, you can use that bacon grease for other cooking adventures ;) |

I go home for "bacon fried chicken". I give it two thumbs up. I have no probs with a little grease on the bacon. Grease is relatively flavorless but I think it enhances the bacon flavor when it is on the bacon.

![]() Hell House Watched it this weekend. It was featured on This American Life recently. Hell Houses are a distinctly American phenomenon which began in 1990 just outside of Dallas, at the Trinity Assembly of God Church. The original Hell House was conceived as a modern-day fire-and-brimstone sermon. Today, this religious ceremony of sorts is replete with actors, extensive lighting equipment and full audio-visual tech crews. Inside the Hell House, tour guides dressed as demons take visitors from room to room to view depictions of school massacres, date rape, AIDS-related deaths, fatal drunk driving crashes, and botched abortions. Hell Houses have now spread to hundreds of churches worldwide. With full access to the behind-the-scenes action, HELL HOUSE follows the process from the first script meeting until the last of the 10,000 visitors passes through the Hell House doors. The movie gives a verite window into the whole process of creating this over-the-top sermon, while showing an intimate portrait of the people who fervently believe its message. Also, The Corporation is a great doc! |
