and upon listening to this album...its my least favorite of anything they have done. i know aaron is a christian and a lot of his previous lyrics have been about god and stuff, but this record just seems over the top preachy to me.

If I started a label I wouldn't allow anyone under 21 to order a preorder.

I emailed him yesterday because the last I heard was that they were trying to get it out by the day the album came out, which would be today.

haven't gotten anything here either. has anyone heard of people getting refunds at all?

Getting refunds? We're still getting the records. It's not like they've been cancelled, they're just behind schedule. Calm down everyone.

i mentioned refunds because a lot of people were thinking they might have oversold the tests since they were available for a while and it seemed that a lot of people had ordered them.

I wish there was a way to delete people from the internet when they get a preorder and then complain that it doesn't come as fast as they want it.

Got a call from my wife that I got the test pressing in the mail today. Haven't seen it yet though because I'm working late tonight. Looking forward to spinning it. Sweet!

when i got my bosque brown test, it was in the appropriate sleeve. not a plain sleeve. that doesn't mean that is how he is doing the mwY test, but maybe it will work out the same way.

It was just in a plain white inner sleeve. When I first ordered both the test and the regular pre-order though, I emailed burnt toast to ask if they if the test would be held to ship along with the regular version, and they said that they would ship separately, but that I would get the real sleeve for the test along with my regular version. On their website though, it said that the test pressing would be shipped with the inserts. Mine weren't. Did anyone else get the inserts with their test pressing?

I would assume so. I'm guessing that possibly they just didn't have the jackets ready in time to ship with the test presses. Or something. But yeah, I'm assuming you'll get yours too. I would hope so at least.

Might just be me, but I think you guys are really overestimating the number of people willing to shell out double or triple the cost of the LP just to get a test press. I mean, the band's pretty popular, and vinyl is in style right now, but come on.

well, i didnt buy it to sell it. i bought it because i am a mwY variant hound. and i wanted it to have.

dude the test press preorder took literally a week to sell out. factor in that the band IS popular and BT vinyl probably knew that. also, they didnt label or tell us how many tests were produced. i know that more than 25 were made. you know that more than 10 a day were sold between VC, VLV, DC...word of mouth. who knows. lets GET REAL HERE.

yeah it definitely did say that. but when i went back to btv's news archives, it has no number.
