Toxic Ranch Records in Tucson is awesome!
Also hiking/climbing in around Mt. Lemon, which is just out side of Tucson. This place is a rad place to stay http://www.blackrangelodge.com/ It's outside of los cruces about an hour or so I think. Not your typical b n b with scones, light jazz, and 15 cats. It's run by and old hippie, they are working on straw bale and some underground hobbit type rooms as well. Breakfast is served by a surly old man working a cast iron skillet, will make anything you want really. Sometimes they have bluegrassy folk bands out there. All around cool place, lots of hiking around there as well. CHECK IT OUT. |
